Hi there. I am about (I think) to be demoted from my administrative position in a school because I "have children" and I am "unreliable" due to my children sometimes getting ill or hurt. For example,I have taken two full sick days and two half days to care for my children in the last 7 months. I was told verbatim that there are "no performance issues" and that "there is no one we'd rather have" in the position than me BUT "you have children." Isn't this blatant discrimination against me because I am a Mom and am not available "100%" of the time, as I was told? Also, now, right before contracts come out, I think they administrators are now "looking" for performance issues to justify my demotion and pay cut. Help!
